On the Buses

Created by Katrina 6 years ago

Alistair was a loveable, happy, mischievous younger brother with a sense of fair play.  On returning from school by bus a conductress was wrongly accusing a boy of starting a fight.  Alistair told her she was wrong, one word led to another and both Alistair and the boy were ordered off the bus.  Both boys refused to go so the irate conductress hopped off the bus to fetch the driver.  As soon as she left the bus Alistair rang the bell and the bus moved off, leaving the conductress behind on the pavement.  The journey was completed to rapturous applause!

Just one of my fond memories, Irene.
