A different style of boat

Al loved the wilderness. He spent many happy weeks in summers working in the forests with Maywell Wickheim on Vancouver Island, and the skills learned in Maywell's boatyard were to be invaluable when Al started managing yachts in Florida in the early 80's. It also funded his weekend racing around San Francisco Bay and in the Pacific.
